How to Save a Relationship with a Cancer Man or Woman
So, you want to save a relationship with a Cancer Man or Woman? This is actually easier than you might think… unless of course they don’t see you as their version “of marriage material”, and in that case you are simply out of luck… and even if that is the case, why would you want to be with someone who doesn’t see you as worth being with anyways?

You really need to stop taking things so personally
Uh huh, yeah, we will get right on that #cancer. You see, a Cancer man or woman is always looking for quality (even if they indulge in quantity when they think that no one’s looking – I see you Cancer!)… but really, not just ANY quality, a quality husband or wife. Yes, you heard that right – and if they tell you that that isn’t the case well then 1. Don’t date that kind of Cancer and 2. It just might not be you and they don’t want to hurt your feelings.
Ouch – I’m being a little harsh, I know, but that’s because, hello?! Cancers ARE harsh! How are you supposed to value their emotions when you can barely get a hold on your own? Preach to me, I know all about that.
The Secret to Cancer Men and Women is this: they don’t want to tell you the things that matter… they want you to drag these things out of them, because to a Cancer, it means that you care. If you haven’t put the time and effort into “understanding their feelings”, (even if you THINK you have, I would ask them to clarify) then simply, it must mean that you don’t care enough about them.
Even when you meet a seemingly submissive Cancer man or woman, don’t let that fool you. It’s either their way or the highway, whether you realize it or not. If you want to wear the pants in the relationship, you might have to find another one, because barking orders at this crab will make it go right back up into it’s shell.
If anyone wants to unconsciously date someone like their mother or father, it’s a Cancer. So, get to know their family first to see if that’s truly a role you want to take over. If they did not have a great relationship with their parents, well, find out what they needed in that relationship and see if that’s something that you actually can and want to offer them now.
Lastly, make sure that your emotions are heard in all of this too. Open up the sand-floor for discussion, and make sure that you are allowed to speak from your honest depth as well.
